TYGH Studio created an outdoor installation in Montr\u00e9al\u2019s Place des Arts for the Mode and Design Festival 2019. Inspired by archeological digs and museum displays of artifacts, this activation explored the evolution of denim through the decades. The outdoor installation was an arrangement of concrete geode shapes that created an interactive landscape with \u201cFossilized\u201d imprints of iconic denim styles and accompanying information about them. Continuing the archeology theme, participants would dig for custom concrete tokens \u2013\u201cfossils\u201d hidden within the indigo hued kinetic sand pit that could then be redeemed for gift cards at the nearby shopping centres Place Montr\u00e9al Trust and Centre Eaton Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”align-center”][vc_column offset=”vc_col-lg-8 vc_col-md-11″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner]\t
