Foundation for Failure brings focus to the overuse of single or short-life plastics and to empower individuals to make a difference with simple changes and conscious actions. Foundation for Failure is designed with its architectural surroundings in mind. As a floor to ceiling pillar of plastics—the piece calls upon the visual language of the other columns in the space, appearing to support the ceiling, rather than be suspended from it. Commenting on our heavy usage of single-use plastics and our shocking dependency of it in almost everything we consume.
